Animal Urgent Care is equipped to handle a variety of pet emergencies, including poisonings, bite wounds, hit by car, and other traumatic injuries.  A wide range of surgical services can be performed, from repair of lacerations, to removal of foreign body, and caesarean sections.  Our hospital also provides care to patients with acute or chronic diseases, such as asthma, diabetes, kidney failure, congestive heart failure, respiratory distress, parvo, and gastrointestinal upset.

Our Fees
Emergency veterinary care is often more costly than the preventive care you receive through your regular veterinarian.  There is an initial fee for each patient who is examined by one of our veterinarians.  All other services, including diagnostic testing, surgery, medications, and hospitalization are additional.  After examining your pet, our veterinarian will develop a treatment plan appropriate to your pet's condition.  A deposit is required for all patients who are admitted for treatment.  All fees are due in full when patient is released.

Patient Discharge
Pets leaving the hospital will either be taken home or transferred to your regular veterinarian for continued care.  In both situations, a copy of your medical record is sent to your veterinarian to be included in your pet's permanent record.  We stress that proper follow-up care is of great importance to a successful outcome in all cases.

**Patients must be picked up by 7:30 am.

Over the Phone Medical Help
Because of the serious and sensitive nature of emergency and critical care veterinary medicine, Animal Urgent Care does not give medical diagnoses or advice over the phone.  The health of your pet is very important to us.  We believe that in order to give you and your pet the best care, we must see your animal before we can accurately give a diagnosis or advice.
